Meet Our Teachers

Ms. Day- Director

Being an Early Childhood educator for almost 15 years taught Ms. Day to be the fun, loving, adventurous, messy, organized, passionate person she is today. With years of experience in Head Start, public education plus owning and operating a private program in Denver, she loves bringing Early Childhood Education to life in Western Montana. She lives in Alberton, with her husband, two children, three dogs, and twenty-seven chickens! Ms. Day’s favorite animal is an otter, she loves to knit and adores a good bar of chocolate! She has her Degree in Early Childhood Education, is CPR and First Aid Certified and a member of the NAEYC and MTAEYC.

Ms. Sheri

My name is Sheri Arnett. My family moved to Alberton last year and I am excited to be a part of the AELC family. Prior to moving to Alberton, I worked as an elementary school teacher for 10 years and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development. My work with young children in education and childcare for a combined total of over 25 years has taught me the importance of play, creativity and providing a language-rich environment. I love working with young children and am excited to get to know your children and to help them develop and grow to their fullest potential. On a personal note, I also enjoy organizing, baking, gardening, reading, playing the piano, tea parties and quiet walks.
